Pilates J

Group Floor Pilates Classes
  • Each class is 60 minutes.

  • We have a new custom built open floor space Movement Room.

  • Fully qualified instructors lead a group of up to 10 Pilates beginners or enthusiasts.

  • Standing or with mats on the floor using a range of small apparatus.

  • Choose from a selection of days and times (please Contact Us). 

  • Antenatal and Postnatal clients

 
Studio Equipment Sessions

Our Group Studio Equipment Sessions are designed for a maximum of only 3 clients.You will be assisted with your individualised moves on a full range of traditional equipment; working on your own body challenges, at your own pace while fully supervised. There is diversity in these sessions, personal challenge and opportunity to discuss what you are feeling and observing as you move.

 

Equipped sessions cater to all clients from those who are seeking rehabilitation to those working towards optimal fitness goals. Each session is 60 minutes.

Private sessions are also available for clients who enjoy working one-on-one.

Studio sessions both private and group are by appointment; at a time that suits you.

Conscious Touch Therapy Private Session

Conscious Touch Therapy offers a silent hour of gentle touch allowing for the conscious experience of a deeply relaxed state.

This deep state of relaxation promotes breathing fully and the release of tensions throughout your organs, tissues and muscle systems.

It is a unique opportunity to encourage the intelligence of your body's own natural healing and promotes deeper sleep from a restful sense of self.

Somatic Therapy
Private Session

Private Somatic Therapy Sessions further investigate our sensing of self through breath, sound, touch and guided or intuitive movement as therapy. 

There is an experience of being met and supported as our minds and bodies express themselves in the moment.

 

In small groups of up to 8 participants over 90 minutes, Movement Exploration Classes offer experiential learnings of embodiment and rest through guided or intuitive movement.

These classes are movement explorations, exploring how movement developed and develops within us.

Participants are discovering as a small group movement with breath, touch, sound, imagination and developmental patterns of moving and being.

 

We learn to support ourselves with awareness toward a felt sense of our inner selves giving us a greater capacity to meet with the world and others.

Pilates J Specialised Classes 
Foot Fitness Classes 

Our feet are the foundation of our body and you will feel the effect of this class form head to toes.

Foot Fitness offers 80 minutes of focus on foot flexibility, foot alignment and foot strength using special props.
 

Come along to get to know, understand and feel how our feet support us.

Whole Body Ball Rolling Classes 

Using specialised balls this class offers an approach to complete muscle release and feels like an 80 minute massage for your whole body.

Rolling your whole body this way stimulates bones and tendons, fascia and tissues, increasing blood circulation and creating space throughout the body as muscles are elongated and tensions released.

 
 
 

Mums & Bubs Class

Our Mums and Bubs class commences

9.30am Tuesday Feb 5th, 2019.

This is an opportunity for Mums to bring their babies to a pilates class with
a focus on post natal recovery.
